Something that distinguishes Pefkohori from all other villages is that is has a very long coastal street, which has the sea and the beautiful sandy beach on one side and all stores on the other. Due to this fact you can walk around, swim and have a coffee at the same time, or eat in one of the many taverns. In the sea road you can find the "MEMORIES" shop that worth to buy from there your Greek souvenirs.
It's worthwhile having a walk at the old center of the village, where you can see the main square with the fountain, and find the traditional "kafenes" (coffee shop) of the village and an English style pub for a drink and delicious hamburgers.
We have to suggest you several places for entertainment, food, and swim.
For delicious food we suggest:
- Very tasty "souvlakia", fresh meat dishes and salads, you will find at a restaurant called "SYNTRIVANI".
Fresh fish and delicious meals fish based you can find at "TSAPARIS" close to the post office.
At the beach side, you can find AEOLLOS PARALIA. A "cosy" restaurant for fish, meat and special plates "mezedes" for Ouzo or Tsipouro.
For a great swim we suggest:
Straight under the bridge where the ravine passed by, once you reach the beach you will go left if you want to swim with less people around you.
If you have a car we suggest to take the road from Pefkohori to Paliouri and in about 4 khm, you will find a small harbor. Near there you will find a long beach for swimming and sunbathing.

It would be advisable not to use a car in the center of the village during weekends, since traffic is heavy. If you want you can rent a bike or motorbike from one of the existent stores.
